A Message From President-Elect Erin Dobesh
Dear Fellow Rotarians,

On behalf of the Rotary Club 14 Leadership Team, I sincerely appreciate your unwavering commitment to our vibrant community of service-minded individuals. The remarkable people within our Club are the driving force behind its success, and we would not be where we are today without your dedication. Our numerous volunteers embody “The Magic of Rotary,” a theme you’ll hear more about throughout the coming year.

As we approach the end of the Rotary year (July 1 - June 30), it’s time to renew your membership with Rotary Club 14. In the next week, you will receive an invoice for your renewal. Due to an increase in District Dues and the hiring of audio/visual technical support, we have adjusted the cost of membership by $5. Invoices this year will reflect the new annual rate of $460. We strive to keep dues reasonable, while providing a high quality experience for all Rotarians. If you have any budget-related questions, please feel free to reach out to our Leadership team.

As we conclude another remarkable Rotary year, I want to commend President Jess Kinser for leading our club through another successful year. Our membership continues to grow, reaching a new record for corporate memberships. We’ve hosted engaging speakers such as; Nebraska’s State Poet Matt Mason, Diane Mendenhall of the Champion Omaha Supernovas, and Lincoln’s Director of Business Development, Kevin Koester. With over forty committees, the opportunities for volunteering in and around our community have been abundant.

I am thrilled to serve as your President for the 2024-2025 year, and we will continue building the legacy of Club 14. I couldn’t imagine doing this without such a dedicated and supportive group of Rotarians.

As you renew your membership this week, please consider making an annual donation to one or both of our foundations — the Rotary 14 Foundation and the Rotary International (RI) Foundation — that support our Club’s service work. To all who have joined the “5/25” campaign, we extend our heartfelt gratitude! The Rotary 14 Foundation aims to reach a goal of $5 million by the end of 2025, further enhancing our capacity to serve our community and beyond.

I look forward to seeing you all at my Inaugural Meeting on July 9th!

President-Elect
Erin Dobesh
