NEOS is the new member orientation process for Rotary 14. The name comes from the Greek word "neos" meaning new or fresh. The purpose is to teach new members (Red Badgers) about our Club and Rotary International (we have a lot going on!), develop relationships within Rotary and get new members involved in Club activities -- to act as a catalyst for a great new member experience!
Since 1988, Lincoln Rotary Club 14 has been honoring Nebraskans who have distinguished themselves through service to other in keeping with ideals of Rotary International. These Nebraskans have shown honesty, integrity, and concerns for others through leadership and significant contributions to their profession and their communities.
Registration for Nebraskan of the Year closes tomorrow (April 14)!

President Randy Hawthorne has invited Rotary 14 Club Members to join him for fun and fellowship at "Wine Down Wednesday." Randy will be at Bin105 from 5-6:30 on Wednesday, April 15 and he is ready and eager to meet other Rotarians to discuss club business or share in your personal lives.
Pat Birch and Pat Leach invite Rotarians and their friends to join them for a prairie walk on April 25 to support Rotary’s Global Polio Eradication Initiative. We'll celebrate the prairie in spring and Earth Day. Join us at the earth-shelter home of Pat Leach and Bill Oberg for short-and-easy walks through the prairie at their place just northwest of Lincoln. To sweeten the deal, Pat and Pat will provide home-baked cookies and coffee. Come to walk in nature or just enjoy the view and the cookies. Further details and a map will be sent following registration.
A $50 donation per person is requested. Checks should be made out to "Polio Plus" and turned in at the event.
