 Jeffrey R. Noordhoek serves as Nelnet Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer. Nelnet is a publicly traded company listed on the NYSE (ticker: NNI). Nelnet is the largest education loan servicer on the planet servicing over $500 billion in loans for over 20 million consumer customers. The company is the largest education payment plan provider in the United States providing payment plans to over 2 million families. In addition, it finances over $12 billion in education and consumer loans on its balance sheet. Nelnet does business in all 50 states and has offices internationally in Canada, Australia, and the Philippines. Over Noordhoek’s career the Nelnet team has securitized over $75 billion in loan assets and acquired in excess of 50 companies. Nelnet has large investments in angel and venture stage start-up companies, commercial and multi-family real estate, and community solar energy production fields. In this role he leads the executive team in the development and execution of corporate strategy and is responsible for the company’s financial performance and growth. Before the founding of Nelnet, he served for seven years working in Boston and Luxembourg for State Street Bank’s Investment Banking Division: State Street Capital Corporation. Noordhoek earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska in 1988 and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University in 1996. Noordhoek currently serves on the board of directors for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka, the Cornhusker Council of Boy Scouts of America, and the Dean’s advisory board for the College of Business at the University of Nebraska, and the Board of Trustees of Junior Achievement of Lincoln.
