As a Chicago, Illinois native John Goodwin has made Lincoln, Nebraska, his home since 1996. Since arriving in Lincoln, John has consistently involved himself within the community. He worked for Lincoln Public School for twenty years as a Campus Supervisor and Football Coach. As of October 2019, John has officially been named Malone’s Executive Director. John brings life, energy, and motivation to maximize the potential and growth of his leadership team, staff, and youth. John is eager and excited to take our community where it needs to go. Outside of the Malone, John is involved in; the Childhood Implementation Team and Neighborhoods Implementation for the city. John is married to Chassidy Jackson-Goodwin, who serves in the Lincoln police department. In John’s free time he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the local eats of Lincoln, training in Martial Arts, and exercising.
