Last week Allen Beermann introduced our newest member, Dennis DeRossett. Dennis is Allen's successor as Executive Director at the Nebraska Press Association. Dennis has been a Rotarian in the past for 12 years.Dennis is a career newspaper executive with extensive experience and achievements in both publishing and press association management. He is native of Illinois and his career has taken him throughout the Midwest –in addition to Illinois: Ohio, Missouri, Oklahoma and Nebraska (twice). His first landing in Nebraska was in the ‘90s as the publisher of the Beatrice Daily Sun. His second venture into Nebraska began at the start of this year – on January 2nd Dennis began the transition to succeed Allen Beermann as Executive Director of the Nebraska Press Association.
