Recently, Tom Stelzer was introduced by Jill Davis as a new Rotarian. As a Mortgage Loan Officer at US Bank, Tom consults with clients and guides them through the home financing process for home purchases, refinances, and new construction loans. Tom pays close attention to the finer details of home lending and strives to make the mortgage process smooth and worry-free for all stakeholders.Tom began his career in mortgage as an underwriter with Wells Fargo after graduating from the University of Iowa in 2011. A unique opportunity brought Tom to Lincoln in 2014 as a senior leader of an industrial painting company that specialized in the refurbishment of water towers. After several years of traveling the central U.S. and climbing to the top of countless water towers, Tom found his way back to financial services.

Tom is an affiliate member of the Realtors Association of Lincoln, where he is active with the Government Affairs Committee and Young Professionals Committee. He is also active with the Home Builders Association of Lincoln where he serves on the golf committee. Tom recently applied as a TeamMate and looks forward to joining their mentorship program.
Tom and his wife Erin have two wonderful children (Sydney, 2, and Theodore, 3 months) as well as two loyal dogs. The family loves spending summers at the lake, where Tom & Erin can slalom ski while the kids cheer them on. Sydney joined Tom on the golf course for the first time this year (mostly as an observer), and he hopes the father/daughter golf outings will continue for years to come!
