Recently, Art Knox introduced returning Rotarian Doug Mathers. Doug was a member of Rotary 14 from 1995 to 2012, where he had the opportunity to serve in the Rotary Board. After graduating from Nebraska Wesleyan, Doug Mathers grew up in the automobile business. Starting at an early age, Doug worked in his father’s car business in Denison, Iowa. Most recently, Doug was the General Manager for Russwood Chrysler for 22 years until 2012. Since 2012, Doug has focused on different investments, with commercial and residential real estate being his major focus. In 2016 Doug invested in a small retail fireworks company with his 2 sons, Austin and Evan. “Patriot Pete’s Fireworks has been a great way to give back to our community.Doug has a family history of Rotary service – his father and grandfather were both active Rotarians.
