Presentation: Rotary Youth Exchange Experience
Cri Bourdier Ortiz, inbound student from Italy at Lincoln High and Sam Cass, UNL student who was in Spain 3 years ago and has been working summers with Belo tours in Europe, will converse with the members. RYE Chair Bob Rauner will facilitate the students' presentation.
Rotary Youth Exchange is a Rotary International student exchange program for students in secondary school. Since 1929, Rotary International has sent young people around the globe to experience new cultures. Students learn a new language, discover another culture, and truly become global citizens. Exchanges for students ages 15-19 are sponsored by Rotary clubs in more than 100 countries. Long-term exchanges last a full academic year, and students attend local schools and live with multiple host families.
