Dictionary Project

How many of you have participated in the Dictionary Project in the past? Without a doubt, this is one of the most fun events we do. 2018 marks the 13th consecutive year that members of Club 14, Lincoln South and Lincoln East have presented a Student’s Dictionary to each of the roughly 4,000 fourth graders in Lincoln Public, parochial and home schools.

There are two opportunities to participate: Please sign up to volunteer at the Labeling Party and to deliver to the school of your choice. 

First, at our annual Labeling Party, we affix a bookplate on all the dictionaries so the students can write their name in their book next to Rotary’s Four Way Test.  For many students, this is the only or one of just a few books they own. Read more here.
