High School Services Committee Chair Ryan Foor recently presented Ash Davis to Rotar14 to receive her Rotary Student Leadership Award. Ash Davis is a graduating 10th-grade student at the Bryan Community Focus Program in Lincoln Public Schools. Ash earned ten college credits during high school and plans to attend Southeast Community College to study human services, mental health, and counseling work. Ash has enjoyed working with their mother’s certified therapy dog and reading in elementary classrooms. Ash was recognized by Rotary #14 President John Gessert at the May 9, 2023 meeting as a Student Leadership Award recipient. In her remarks at the meeting, Ash spoke about her commitment to Service Above Self, mainly serving others who have experienced mental health challenges.
