Club 14 Rotarians just acknowledged and celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Club 14 Foundation. So, too, we acknowledge and celebrate the 246th birthday of our country. Whether we commemorate as Rotarians or citizens, or a combination, we appreciate that our Club, our country, and each of us is rich beyond measure because we choose to do good things, great things, on behalf of others. Read the words of Condoleezza Rice. "The essence of America - that which really unites us - is not ethnicity, or nationality, or religion. It is an idea - and what an idea it is: that you can come from humble circumstances and do great things. That is doesn't matter where you came from. It matters where you are going."
