Amy Williams opened a new chapter in a familiar place after being named the head coach of the Nebraska women’s basketball team on April 11, 2016. Williams, who proved herself as a winner and a program builder in her first nine seasons as a collegiate head coach, returned to her alma mater to lead a new stage in the Husker program. Amy Williams completed her sixth season at Nebraska by leading the Huskers to the 2022 NCAA Tournament. The Huskers ran to a 24-9 overall record and a No. 23 NET ranking while advancing to the Big Ten Tournament semifinals.
The Huskers put one of the most complete teams in school history on the floor, ranking 10th nationally in scoring offense (77.8 ppg), 13th in assists (17.4 apg), 18th in scoring margin (+13.5 ppg), while leading the Big Ten, setting a school record and ranking 21st nationally in three-pointers made per game (8.5). NU also led the Big Ten and ranked 23rd in the nation in rebounding (41.8 rpg), while leading a Big Ten that featured four of the nation's highest-scoring teams in field goal percentage defense (.385). A native of Spearfish, S.D., Williams and her husband, Lloyd, have two daughters Kennadi and Bentli. To read more about Amy Williams, click here.
Recently, Angie Muhleisen introduced our newest member Mike Hedderman. Mike is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital. Mike has been at Madonna since 2017. He is originally from Illinois and was the CFO/COO at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital. Mike was part of 2 Rotary Clubs in Wheaton - they had an “A.M. club” and a “noon club”. He was part of a few projects started by the Wheaton Rotary - the one he enjoyed the most was a baseball league for disabled children. Mike and his wife, Mary Ann, live in Lincoln. Their daughter followed them to Nebraska and received her master’s degree from UNL, and, along with their son, owns a home and resides in Omaha. So at least one of the Heddermans is a true Husker graduate! Welcome to Rotary 14, Mike!

25 Years of Doing Good!! That's you, Club member! It's about the Rotary Club #14 decisions to make a profound difference in this community and beyond through your Club #14 Foundation.
President Christina said it perfectly. "Celebrate with your fellow members and guests to recount the impact our Club has had through gifts from our Foundation; projects such as the Sunken Garden Gazebo, the Everett Playground, high school scholarships and so much more."
