Shannon Ankeny is the Corporate Communications Manager for Nelnet Inc., and has an MA in Integrated Media Communications from UNL’s College of Journalism. She has been involved in community volunteerism for years, from improving communities to bringing families together to donating time and raising money. She is a veteran of the Nebraska Army National Guard and served two activations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
