Recently, Angie Muhleisen introduced newest member Jan Coy of Duncan Aviation. Jan, originally from Omaha, Nebraska, attended Marian High School before making her way to Lincoln, where she enrolled at the University of Nebraska. During her time at UNL, Jan embraced an active role in various campus and civic activities, forging connections with numerous Lincolnites and developing a profound affection for the city.After completing her degree, Jan embarked on a professional path encompassing diverse industries. She initially joined Citizens State Bank, working alongside Eames Irvin, and later transitioned to LinTel Systems, collaborating with Chip Woods III. Following these experiences, Jan found herself at Forke Brothers-THE Auctioneers, with Ted Forke & Family, ultimately meeting her husband, Jim Coy. Their marriage has spanned nearly three decades. Together, they have a wonderful son named Sam, who resides in Omaha and is scheduled to commence his Doctorate in Occupational Therapy Program at Creighton University in August.

After dedicating 16 years to raising their son, Jan decided to re-enter the workforce as a Development Officer at Pius X High School. Subsequently, she joined United Way for a rewarding five-year tenure. Seeking a new chapter in her career, Jan transitioned to Duncan Aviation on August 8, 2022, assuming the role of Professional Development Specialist.
Jan places great importance on her faith, family, philanthropy, and serving others, which are her top priorities. She lives by the personal motto, "Don't look for trouble you do not have, it will find you soon enough. Jan derives great satisfaction from cultivating meaningful relationships outside her professional endeavors. Additionally, she finds joy in reading, cooking, traveling, football, basketball, tennis, and engaging in volunteer work.
