Doug Blum was born and raised on a farm near Waco, Nebraska. He holds a B.S. Degree in Actuarial Science from UNK and has been an actuary for over 25 years. He and his wife, Kimberly, have two teenage daughters – Kaitlyn and Madeline. Doug and his family moved back to Lincoln a couple of years ago from Highlands Ranch, CO and enjoy being closer to family. In his spare time, Doug enjoys spending time with his family, walking their dog, and going for long bike rides on the Lincoln trails.
