Michelle is especially grateful to be chosen as a local Rotarian. Michelle states, “At times, we all forget that we are parts of a whole. None of us would be where we are today without energy and strength from others.” For that reason, she enjoys giving back and “Service Above Self” is a moral principle that she holds dear. Michelle is currently the director of sales for The Kindler Hotel, Lincoln’s first independently owned, boutique hotel. She has worked in a communications and sales capacity for many years, holding positions at Nebraska Wesleyan University as public relations director; The Cornhusker Hotel as sales and marketing director; Talent Plus, Inc. as chief of staff and the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce as marketing director.
She is a native Lincolnite, possessing degrees from the University of Nebraska. Michelle is a mother of three children, two sons entering middle school and a daughter who will be a senior at Lincoln Southwest High School. Michelle has a special place in her heart for people possessing special needs, or rather, “superior talents.” Her middle child has Down syndrome.
