Recently, Bob Everitt introduced our new member Matt Glawatz. Matt is an Architect and Associate Principal with The Clark Enersen Partners. Matt has been with the firm for the past 19 years, beginning his career as an intern in May 2000. Matt graduated with his Masters of Architecture from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2005, and began full-time employment with the firm. Over his career he has developed a specialization in Civic Architecture, particularly Public Libraries. “Libraries as a service and building type have the ability to positively impact the lives of all people, regardless of social or economic status, and serve to improve the vitality of the communities in which they reside.”
Matt grew up in Seward, Nebraska, and is the son of Roger and Sharon Glawatz. Roger is an active Rotarian in the Rotary Club of Seward. Matt and his wife Maggie have been married for 5 years. Maggie is a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in Geriatrics with Bryan Health. They have a 2-year-old daughter Josephine who is the joy of their world, and two dogs who keep them all on their toes. When they can find spare time, they enjoy camping, traveling, and spending time in their yard. Welcome to Rotary, Matt!
