Recently, Dean Settle introduced our new member Dennis Hoffman. Dennis is the Executive Director for Family Service Lincoln. He joined the Family Service team in June 2017. He came to Family Service with a strong background in program quality, serving vulnerable populations, and community connections. Prior to Family Service, he was the Chief Program Officer at CenterPointe and was responsible for developing and overseeing housing and support services for individuals experiencing homelessness. Dennis has also provided leadership in Lincoln’s Continuum of Care. His accomplishments and commitment to helping persons in need have been recognized including as the recipient of Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach’s Compassion in Action Award.
Dennis is a Lincoln native. He has two sons who have chosen unique career paths. His oldest is a professional baseball player and his youngest is in school studying livestock management. His partner is an established commercial interior designer, architect, and fellow Rotarian. Dennis enjoys the outdoors, biking and working in the yard. He also loves the nostalgia of baseball and old motorcycles.
