The UNL Rotaract Club sponsored by Rotary 14 and Lincoln Rotary South bussed tables at the Pizza Ranch to raise funds for their Wheelchair Project. At the event, they received $670 in tips with an expectation of about $230 from 10% of the sales for a total of $1000. The members worked hard and were appreciated by about 30 Rotarians in attendance. Around the event, Rotaract members spoke at three Lincoln clubs where another $1700 was raised making a total for the event of $2700. This is enough to purchase 11 wheelchairs for survivors of polio in the Ivory Coast. We are near $12,000 of the $18,000 that we need for the project to be completed.
