Traveling in Germany
Recently, Rotary Club 14 member Dr. Regina Werum attended a weekly meeting of the Rotary Club Mainz 50° Nord (Germany; https://mainz-50-nord.rotary.de/). On this occasion, Mainz 50° Nord -- so named because the city is located on the 50° latitude – held a special dinner event at a regional bank renowned for both its post -WW2 abstract art collection as well as a trove of amazing, Roman artifacts discovered when the building was constructed in 2018 in the former Customs Port area along the Rhine River (check this out! https://www.lbbw-immobilien.de/de/lbbw-immobilien-gruppe/presse/seltener-amphoren-fund-in-der-baugrube-fur-das-buroensemble-rheinkontor-im-zollhafen-mainz).
