Dr. Darrin Good, President, Nebraska Wesleyan University
Dr. Darrin Good is beginning his 8th year as President of Nebraska Wesleyan University. Prior to coming to NWU, he served as Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty at Whittier College near Los Angeles, but his roots are here in the Midwest.  He has served as Associate Provost and Dean of Science and Education at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn., and prior to that, he was a biology professor at his alma mater, Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill. He serves on the Board of the Council for Independent Nebraska Colleges and is past chair of the Board of the Council of Nebraska Independent Colleges Foundation and past chair of the American Rivers Conference Presidents Council. He also currently serves on the CHI Health Saint Elizabeth/Nebraska Heart Hospital Community Board of Directors, the Kansas IMBRE Advisory Board, and the UNMC Board of Counselors. President Good embodies a community spirit and servant leader that motivates Nebraska Wesleyan’s faculty, staff, and students to give selflessly of their time and talent to the campus community, and to see themselves as integral parts of our local community and as global citizens.
