Presentation: Turbine Flats: A Supporting Environment for Entrepreneurial StartupsSpeaker: Matthew Wegener has been a fixture in the Lincoln Entrepreneurship scene since 2001 when his company, ISoft Data Systems opened its doors to bring in and build a community with other early-stage and start-up businesses. Those early experiments provided the first home to companies like Allied Strategy which became Semcat, Phoenix Web Group, and Agile Sports, known today as Hudl, and in 2008, led to the creation of the Turbine Flats Project. "The Flats" is an "Idea Community" at 22nd and Y Street, with now over 30,000 Square Feet of office/incubator space and is home to 40 companies and organizations.
