Introducing Rotary 14 President Jess Kinser, Vice President of Communications and Marketing for Farmers Mutual of Nebraska. With 13 years of Rotary experience and an impeccable perfect attendance record for six years, Jess is a dedicated Rotarian and a Paul Harris Fellow. Jess graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a major in broadcasting, launching her career in that field before finding her passion in marketing. Recognizing her enthusiasm, she pursued a master's degree in business administration, focusing on marketing at UNL.Currently serving as the Vice President of Communications and Marketing at Farmers Mutual of Nebraska, Jess' involvement with Rotary 14 was an obvious choice. Introduced to Rotary 14 by her former boss at Vision Maker Media in 2010, she embraced the organization as an opportunity to expand her network beyond her industry, learn from others, and foster personal growth. Jess views Rotary as a reciprocal experience, emphasizing that one gets as much as one puts in.
Jess has actively participated in committees and has dedicated herself to fundraising efforts, notably co-chairing the Rise Shine Give project for a year. She finds fulfillment in joining Rotary service projects such as bell ringing for the Salvation Army. Recently, Jess represented Rotary at the Rotary International Convention in Melbourne, Australia, where she gained valuable insights to enhance her leadership within our club.
As Jess begins her tenure as Rotary 14 President, she envisions another remarkable year for the club. Encouraging each member to engage with Rotary actively, she emphasizes the value that can be derived from their membership. With her leadership, enthusiasm, and commitment, Jess aims to create a thriving Rotary community where every member can contribute and benefit.
