Last week at Rotary, President Mailani Veney presided the meeting, while Randy Hawthorne served as Secretary. Our most engaged Rotarians with their perfect attendance were recognized and awarded their 22k gold electroplated cloisonné number tabs. Regina Werum announced she will be in Germany for a year and will be leading a study abroad program for UNL in Spring 2020 -- 18 Huskers in Berlin! Craig Strong, a colonel in the US Army, announced that he accepted a three-year term position at Pentagon. Craig will support the US Secretary of Defense as Senior Policy Analyst for Global Threats. Both Regina and Craig will maintain their Rotary 14 memberships while attending Rotary clubs in their new cities. Frosty Critchfield, Leslie Huerta & Lisa Froehlich served as Cashiers, while Eric Drumheller, Ben Martens, Josh Overocker served as Greeters.
