Diane Mendenhall joined the Lincoln Community Foundation this past May as the Vice President of Gift Planning. In this role, Diane assists donors in developing a meaningful and strategic approach to help meet their present and future philanthropic goals, and in turn, helps build a great city. 
 
Prior to joining the LCF, she worked for 20 years for the University of Nebraska. She served in several administrative leadership positions including 12 years in Husker Athletics, as John Cook’s first Director of Volleyball Operations, and a Senior Associate Athletics Director, as well as six years as Nebraska Alumni Association Executive Director, and most recently serving as the Chancellor’s Director of External Engagement.
 
A native of Ogallala, Neb., Diane is an alumna of the University of Kansas. She was a four-year starter for the Jayhawk volleyball team and a team captain as a senior. Many of you know her as the former radio analyst of Nebraska Volleyball for 16 years.
