"Read Aloud" program

What’s your favorite childhood book? Why do you remember it?

On August 14, our program will feature the “Read Aloud” program at Everett Elementary School. Nancy Larimer and Mary Reiman, former Lincoln Public Schools librarians, have found a new way to promote their passion for childhood literacy. Addressing the goals of Prosper Lincoln's Early Childhood Development focus, they are co-directors of the Read Aloud Lincoln initiative. Well aware of the importance of reading in helping prepare our youngest citizens to be successful in school and beyond, they continue to spread the word to all of Lincoln.
