Karen has lived in Lincoln all her life and has spent her career working at the Nebraska Department of Revenue. She recently celebrated 47 years with the Department. She is married to Tom Barrett, has one son, Nate Michel, and two grandsons, Owen and Noah. She enjoys watching her grandson’s sporting activities, gardening, swimming, helping care for her 90-year 'young' mother, who still lives in her own home, and being involved in activities at her church and around Lincoln. Thank you, Christie Weston, for sponsoring Karen to Rotary! Welcome, Karen!
