Ryan Dobesh is a Studio/Remote Production Supervisor / Nebraska Public Media and has five years of perfect attendance as a Rotarian and has been awarded Rotarian of the year. Morrie Enders is the Executive Director, Lincoln Community Playhouse and has been active as Club Secretary 2020-21 and Birthday Books Project Chair 2018-19. Anna Hernoud is the Banking Center Manager, for CIT Bank and has participated in Little Free Pantries Chair 2020-2021 and Lead for the Little Free Pantry District Grant 2021-22. Leslie Huerta is the Owner of Francie & Finch Bookstore and has been active in Rotary for 3 years as Cashiers Chair 2019-20. CONGRATULATIONS!
Originally from Togo, in West Africa, Philipe Bruce (Phil) moved to the United States in 2004. He is currently the CEO and Founder of The Bloc, a nonprofit organization that aims to change the quality of life of all community members through education, charity and philanthropy, and community building. In his spare time, Phil likes to play Chess, but before all, he is a husband and a father. Phil and his wife Dr. Brooke Bruce are parents to two daughters, Rayan and Isla.

Dr. Roger Hughes is Doane's 13th president, succeeding Dr. Jacque Carter. Hughes, was the head football coach at Stetson University in Deland, Florida, holds a bachelor’s degree from Doane University (1982), a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln (1984), and a Ph.D., also from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln (1987).
Dr. Hughes’ academic background is primarily related to sports medicine and athletic performance and includes teaching, academic publications in refereed journals, and presentations at national and international conferences. Roger is a native Nebraskan and a natural speaker.

Wanted: Grant Applications for International Club Projects
Each year Club 14 supports a limited number of international projects with grants of $1,500-$5,000. Past grants like these have provided school supplies and uniforms, water tanks, medical exams, fish (for nutrition!), student educational experiences, and much more.
