Recently, Immediate Past Rotary International President Mark Maloney, presented Rotary 14 with the prestigious Rotary International Presidential Citation award, with Platinum distinction. The award comes in three distinctions, such as Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Our club did not just meet the expectations for the Citation but we exceeded expectations in meeting the RI's goals for Rotary Year 2019-2020 under the leadership of President Mailani Veney. Congratulations to the club leadership, the Club Board, and each and every Rotarian for making the Year of Aloha, such an extraordinary year in many respects.

Our ties to Everett Elementary are strong, and not even a pandemic can keep us from connecting with the students, so we transitioned Read Aloud at Everett to Zoom. The new format has been successful, as we have had Rotary readers virtually in the classroom every week since September 18.
