Mia Azizah is a current Public Information Officer at the State of Nebraska Board of Engineers and Architects. She leads the educational, communication, and outreach efforts for those who seek engineering and architecture licensure and involved in building projects for the safety, health, and welfare of the public. She is also a freelance writer for Nebraska business magazine, Women's Edition, for about two and a half years. Being involved in Rotaract allows Azizah to learn more about Rotary and how she can make a difference in the local and global community while developing her growth and passions. Christie Weston and Angela Boule dropped off winter coats, caps, and gloves to Principal Mike Long at Everett Elementary on Monday, December 7.  Angela’s colleagues at HoriSun Hospice supported our coat drive in a big way, so we are very thankful for them in addition to the many Rotarians who contributed!  Collectively, we donated over 50 warm winter coats, 42 stocking caps, a handful of scarves, 15 pairs of gloves, and 100 pairs of colorful knit mittens (handmade by Kris Rutford’s sister-in-law)!  Thank you to those who dropped off items and those who gave funds to purchase coats and caps. We have so much appreciation for your big hearts for our Everett friends!
