They serve 16 counties in Southeast Nebraska. They are Polk, York, Fillmore, Thayer, Butler, Seward, Saline, Jefferson, Saunders, Lancaster, Gage, Otoe, Johnson, Pawnee, Nemaha, and Richardson.
Speaker's bio: Michaella Kumke has nearly 20 years of nonprofit experience that includes educational broadcasting, health care, early childhood development, and human services. She is a proud member of the Food Bank’s leadership team and co-leads the organization’s Raising Our Response to hunger capital campaign, a $10 million project focused on finding hunger solutions. On March 2, The Rotary Foundation (TRF) Chair Scott Larson recognized Dr. Bob Rauner as Paul Harris Fellow +1. Bob is President at Partnership for a Healthy Lincoln and joined Rotary in September of 2011. Serving as Director 2017-19. In 2020-2021 he was also awarded 5 years of perfect attendance and 2020 Rotarian of the Year. He has made contributions to many club projects including birthday books, fines, and the Rise. Shine. Give fundraiser. His contribution of $2,000 to TRF will help in eradicating polio and support TRF's priorities in protecting the environment, fighting disease, providing clean water, supporting education, maternal health, and protecting the environment.
Dr. Stuart Stofferahn serves as the Executive Director of Nebraska Transition College. He has taught vocal music in the elementary school, served as a director of youth and family ministries, and he has recently completed 31 years of reserve and active duty military service through the United States Air Force. He received his doctorate in education leadership, and he is an active volunteer in the Lincoln community.
