The Rotary Foundation, Doing Good in the World
Click here to donate online to The Rotary Foundation (TRF) of Rotary International (RI). Donating to The Rotary Foundation is a great opportunity for Rotarians to give back.  Consider making your annual donation NOW.  Your money comes back to us in three years in the form of Global and District grants to spend on our projects.  Your donation goes worldwide to promote peace and conflict prevention & resolution, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education, literacy, and economic and community development. Every Rotarian Every Year asks that you consider a gift of at least $100 to The Rotary Foundation.

You can also mail a check made out to The Rotary Foundation to PO Box 83843, Lincoln 68501. Yolanda will send it with the contribution form to TRF. You have until June 30, 2021, to donate for this Rotary year. Any questions, please contact TRF Chair Scott Larson at 402.499.4444.

Last Week at Rotary
Last week Eric Drumheller presided over the meeting with secretary Morrie Enders. Virtual Meeting Host was Art Zygielbaum with Virtual Greeter and Program Host Lisa Lee. Speaker was Carter Wilbur from the State Department. Randy Bretz and Jess Rustad would appreciate it if you would complete a short survey about how the pandemic affected your Rotary experience and how you think we will grow as we transition out of it. Results will be used to develop a communication piece to help our club, our district, and hopefully other clubs around the world. Complete your Rotary census to report your race/ethnicity as part of our strategic plan goal. Mike Wortman introduced new member Todd Mattox, Senior Director of Development, College of Education and Human Sciences, University of Nebraska Foundation. President Eric asked to send your get-well wishes to: Brad Bryan who is continuing to recover from COVID, Former member Sara Larkins and her husband as they recover from COVID at their home in Los Angeles. Keep Priscilla Henkelmann and her family in your thoughts as her father, Charlie, passed away on Thursday. Congratulations Lowell Berg on being honored as AIA Nebraska’s 2020 Cunningham Award recipient! Book Honorarium for the week was in honor of our speaker - Johnny Boo and the Midnight Monsters to Elliott by Christie Weston and for Ingrid Gessert; Lost and Found Cat: The True Story of Kunkush's Incredible Journey to Hill by John Gessert.
