Every December, Rotarians volunteer to ring bells on behalf of the Salvation Army. Lincoln Rotary Club #14 commits to a full day of bell-ringing, but each Rotarian is asked to give just one hour on a given Saturday to share in the spirit of the holidays and giving back to the Lincoln community. This year, Rotarians will ring bells on December 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sign up now, click here. Family members and friends are welcome to serve. For questions, please contact Co-chairs Jay Wexler and Deb Uttech at (845) 913-6719.
As famously published on Facebook: Past President Randy Bretz was a Rotary Reader on Wednesday. That's right, he volunteered to read a book for two pre-school classes. Here's a photo from one of the classes, and showing Randy practicing his reading skills. We're so proud of him for knowing how to pronounce the great big word Pumpkin. You can be a Rotary Reader too. Just get in touch with Stacy Gutschenritter.
Helping our food insecure population in Lincoln is a passion for Rotarians. Click here to sign up. For questions, please contact Project Chair Anna Hernoud at annahernoud@gmail.com.
