Our fearless leader President Christina Usher participated in the Boys Scout fundraiser rappelling at the Cornhusker Marriott on August 5, 2021. Past President Mark Stephens had earlier presented the idea of President Christina rappelling at a recent Rotary meeting, and they needed to raise $1,000 for President Christina to rappel on the side of the Cornhusker Marriott. President Christina pledged to match dollar for dollar the first $500 raised with a $500 to the Club Foundation. Both goals were achieved, and President Christina successfully rappelled on August 5th. Congratulations, President Christina!
Cheering for President Christina Usher were L to R: Julie Robinson, Deb Uttecht, Jay Wexler, future Rotarian Maci, PP Mark Stephens, and Jim Smith.
