Christine Weeks, Sean Flattery, and Mackenzie Slivka will be here to discuss the past, present, and future of the Dorothy Lynch brand!
Founded in the late 1940s by Dorothy Lynch and her husband at the American Legion Club in St. Paul, Nebraska, Dorothy Lynch Home Style Salad Dressing began as a small-batch, tomato-based condiment prized for its unique sweet-spicy flavor and creamy texture. Club patrons loved it so much that they’d bring in their own bottles for refills, and word of “that delicious Dorothy Lynch dressing” quickly spread across the state. In 1964, Gordon “Mac” Hull purchased the patented recipe and built the first factory in Columbus, Nebraska. Today, under Tasty Toppings, Inc., and the leadership of Hull’s daughter Marilea, the brand remains family-owned and proudly produced in Duncan, Nebraska. |
